  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy: A type of therapy that uses positive reinforcement and other techniques to increase desired behaviors and decrease unwanted behaviors.
  • Speech and language therapy: Services to help students improve their communication skills, including their ability to express themselves and understand others.
  • Occupational therapy: Services to help students improve their fine and gross motor skills, as well as their ability to complete daily living tasks.
  • Social skills training: Programs to help students develop the social skills they need to interact effectively with others. Adaptive physical education: Specialized physical education programs that are designed to meet the needs of students with ASD and related deficits.
  • Positive behavior support: Programs that teach appropriate behaviors and provide positive reinforcement to help students develop self-control and self-regulation.
